Novaix Onyx’s EP, Close, turns double-meaning titles into a study of control and shifting power. The title track pairs UK garage’s restless two-step rhythm with a firm house pulse, organ-led bass, and a recurring 90s-inspired vocal motif. Novaix Onyx moves from understated sing-talk into rapid-fire rapping, creating its peak through momentum rather than a conventional drop. English lyrics blend with Korean phrases in the hooks, adding another layer to the crossover sound. The track ends abruptly instead of chasing a grand finale. As a disclosed AI artist, Novaix Onyx presents an unusual meeting point between human songwriting, direction, and generative performance within contemporary Asian-pop and UK dance music.
