Kylo begins a compelling new chapter with Nimble, the first taste of her forthcoming album The Space in Between. Trading her earlier electronic textures for indie folk warmth, the Toronto singer-songwriter builds the track around intimate vocals, reflective lyrics, and organic instrumentation. Guitar, mandolin, banjo, and pedal steel give the arrangement a gentle, lived-in character, while the melody remains immediately inviting. Emotionally, Nimble captures the confusion following an abrupt breakup, balancing longing, resentment, nostalgia, and unresolved tenderness. Its vulnerability feels natural rather than overstated, making the song particularly resonant. Nimble suggests an artist embracing honesty and simplicity, with plenty of promise for what comes next.
