Glasgow producer CLOLBR makes a confident return after more than six years away, with Ignite the Signal, an EP rooted in house music while looking firmly ahead. The title cut pairs propulsive electronic rhythms with vocals from US songwriter Daniel Melody, whose remote contribution adds a human spark to CLOLBR’s independently crafted production. Built in Glasgow, the track reflects his instinctive, hands-on studio approach and decades spent immersed in underground dance culture. Midi Junction shifts toward deeper house territory, bringing melodic piano into the mix and revealing a more refined side of his sound. Together, these tracks celebrate his influences without simply recreating them.
