Tobi Dada celebrates a long-awaited musical milestone with Oluwatobi, his debut album built on 15 years of artistic ambition. Exploring jazz classics through his own creative lens, the London-based musician showcases a journey from instinctive playing and classical training to the expressive freedom of improvisation. Recorded partly in his childhood home and established music stores across central London, the project carries a personal touch. Influenced by family experiences, economic uncertainty and the rise of artificial intelligence, Dada channels a changing world into music. With its intimate production and personal significance, Oluwatobi introduces an artist finally realizing a longstanding dream.
