Is This You, by Carmelo Alfano and Sundae Club, explores a meeting point between indie experimentation and electronic atmosphere. Vintage instrumental colors, textured production, and an unconventional sensibility give the track an intriguing, slightly otherworldly character. Rather than settling into a single genre, it moves comfortably between alternative, electronic, and art-pop territory, making the song feel exploratory without becoming inaccessible. Alfano’s long musical journey, spanning performance, songwriting, technology, and international experiences, adds context to an artist clearly comfortable following unexpected paths. Sundae Club’s creative partnership further enriches the arrangement, resulting in a distinctive collaboration with plenty of personality and a refreshing willingness to experiment freely.
