Judith Owen’s single, Inside Out, radiates the kind of warmth that makes optimism feel contagious. Rooted in New Orleans soul, the track blends gospel, jazz, r&b and vintage influences into a lively, richly textured groove. Owen’s expressive vocal delivery gives the song both intimacy and power, while Jamison Ross’s co-writing and drumming help keep its momentum irresistible. The Tonya Boyd-Cannon Choir adds soaring harmonies that broaden the arrangement into a communal celebration. Inspired by personal growth and the decision to embrace happiness through difficult moments, Inside Out feels sincere rather than sentimental. Recorded in New Orleans, it captures the city’s resilient spirit and turns self-discovery into something wonderfully danceable.
