Obco’s single Chowanego is a bilingual single whose title means Hide and Seek. The Chicago artist, drawing on his Polish heritage and American roots, fuses nostalgic melodies with contemporary melodic rap. The track reflects on changing friendships, personal growth, and the memories that continue shaping identity. Polish and English lyrics glide across warm production, capturing late-night drives, family ties, gratitude, and the lasting influence of people who once shared life’s journey. Instead of dwelling on absence, the song highlights resilience, acceptance, and hope for those who have taken different paths. Chowanego reinforces Obco’s mission of connecting American and Polish experiences through sincere, emotionally grounded storytelling while embracing cultural identity naturally.
