Our Violet Room collaborate with PHIE in On the Run, a wistful indie pop duet that explores the complicated moments after a breakup. The track captures two people who still care deeply but recognize their paths no longer align. Blending dreamy textures with cinematic arrangements, it balances vulnerability and release through heartfelt vocals and atmospheric production. Matthew Birch’s project continues to expand its sound, moving toward a more dynamic indie pop direction while keeping its emotional storytelling intact. On the Run offers a reflective listen for anyone navigating love, loss, and the difficult choice of moving forward when feelings remain. It is a tender and memorable addition to the genre.
