Chellcy Reitsma has released her new album, Momento Mori, a record centered on life’s fleeting nature and the value of living with purpose. Borrowing its name from the Latin reminder of mortality, the project blends blues, alt-rock, rockabilly, and Americana into a nostalgic, noir-inspired sound. Across 10 songs, the first chapter of a planned double concept album explores self-discovery, resilience, and acceptance. Its follow-up, Carpe Diem, is expected next year, continuing her creative vision that also draws on visual art and poetry.
